Tarafert's projects are developed and executed along the principles of responsible entrepreneurship and good neighborly behavior.
During construction, the Durango project will employ 2,800 people and will generate indirect employment for several thousand more. Once operational, the plant will directly employ approximately 250 people and lead to the creation of more than 1,000 indirect jobs.
Tarafert is committed to local education and training programs to bring new skills and maximize employment opportunities.
Tarafert adheres to all local and international regulations and guidelines regarding environment, health, and safety. Tarafert’s Durango site is surrounded by natural barriers and is not inside or next to any protected or environmentally sensitive area.
